Refunds, transfers and deferrals (proposed)

  Refund window. Proposed policy, not yet in force: a refund, less processing fees, on request until a stated date before the event. The date is TBD. The binding terms will be published with registration.

  Transfers. Proposed policy, not yet in force: you can transfer your entry to another rider until check-in. A small admin fee is possible. The new rider meets the same eligibility rules. The binding terms will be published with registration.

  Deferral. Proposed policy, not yet in force: you can defer your entry to the next edition, up to a deadline to be set. The binding terms will be published with registration.

  Military deployment, pregnancy and serious illness. Proposed policy, not yet in force: a free deferral or a refund with documentation, for military deployment, pregnancy or the postpartum period, or a serious medical case. The binding terms will be published with registration.

  A stage shortened or cancelled. Proposed: a shortened or cancelled stage isn't refunded per stage; the overall is computed on the stages completed. This covers weather, wildfire, smoke and closure orders.

  The whole event cancelled for wildfire or smoke. Proposed policy, not yet in force: riders get a deferral or a partial refund. The terms depend on the registration platform and the event insurance, and will be set with them.

  Registration insurance. We intend to offer optional third-party registration insurance at checkout, for riders who want cover beyond these terms.

  Non-refundable items. Payment processing fees and merchandise are not refundable.
